The purpose of God’s Way Services is to equip God’s children to reach their full spiritual potential through godly counsel and the Word of God.

Creation Therapy is based upon the theory of temperament (understanding of the inner man - our intrinsic make-up) and uses this knowledge to help us understand ourselves.

Therefore it allows us to be the best that God has created us to be by meeting the needs of our temperament equally and scripturally. Although this therapeutic method is a fairly new concept (since 1983) it has proven to be extremely successful.

What Is Creation Therapy?

Creation Therapy is a step by step therapeutic format based upon the Word of God.

Man is a 3 part (trichotimous): physical, emotional and spiritual being with basic needs. When man is seeking to meet these needs, he is driven in his attempts to the things of the world for satisfaction.

Through Creation Therapy the individual is being taught how to have their needs met in godly ways that are conducive to the Holy Scriptures.

Creation Therapy is, in part, a means by which mankind is given the understanding of his or her temperament and the knowledge to find balance and the perfect place God has designed for them.

Creation Therapy is the mechanism by which mankind is given the ability to find balance between body, soul and spirit, allowing them to be the best that God created them to be.

Creation Therapy is a counseling method based upon the belief that man is a uniquely created being rather than the result of an evolutionary process. This method was developed by the National Christian Counselors Association in the early 1980's which underwent seven years of research involving more than five thousand (+5,000) individuals who were seeking help for their problems. Conclusions based on research are that Creation Therapy is over ninety percent (+90%) successful when administered by a person who has been trained in this counseling technique.

What Is Temperament?

Before defining what Temperament is, we need to first discuss the inner person’s composition, which is made up of what has been called the “Building Blocks” that are very helpful in understanding human behavior.
The inner person is composed of the following dynamics: (Building Blocks and Temperament)

Temperament pinpoints our perceptions of ourselves and the people who love and care about us.

Although “Temperament” is not specifically mentioned in the Old or New Testament Scriptures, in Psalm 139 King David (knowing nothing about DNA) knew that before you were born, God designed you.... “For you created my innermost being...” While your body was being differentiated within your mother’s womb, each “inward part” was designed exactly as God intended - including both your strengths and weaknesses. Temperament is based upon a “creationist view” and not an evolutionary view of human origin and development. In Genesis 1:27 the Word of God says, “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female created he them”. Temperament is similar to gender in the sense that there are certain environment influences that can alter the gender, but never really change it. Temperament is not genetic in the sense that it is not passed through the genes and chromosomes of men and women. Your Temperament contains your inborn qualities coded by a loving and wise Creator and these qualities make up your unique identity.

Temperament Therapy is a Biblical / spiritual method by which an individual’s soul is analyzed and measured scientifically, on a personal level for: understanding, development and godly change.
